Mixed Bed Demineralization
General Details
Mixed bed demineralization systems (MBDI) are systems used to obtain demineralized water from pre-treated low conductivity water. With the help of strong anionic and strong cationic resins that are mixed in MBDI tanks, the ions in the water are bound to the resins and separated from the water. With the automatic regeneration system, the resins are renewed and reused by using acid and caustic.
